Meet the team
Zac Coplon is President and co-founder of Blue Bison Analytics, which he started in January 2020 to build 4cast, software for the economic evaluation of oil and gas properties. Before that he was CFO of an Oklahoma City mineral and non-op company, where he facilitated transactions covering thousands of leasehold and mineral acres in under three years. He holds an MBA in Finance from Oklahoma City University.
Earlier in his career, Zac held positions in state agencies and financial institutions. His volunteer roles have included coaching youth baseball, the Oklahoma City University Mentor Program, and the Mineral Foundation for NARO (National Association of Royalty Owners).
Alex Dalke brings more than 15 years of experience turning complex subsurface and production data into actionable insights for engineers, geologists, and executives. His career spans roles at nimble startups and publicly traded operators, covering unconventional resource plays including the Eagle Ford and Marcellus as well as conventional fields and exploration projects.
Over the years Alex has modernized technical workflows by automating repetitive tasks with Python and SQL, building enterprise-ready data pipelines, and crafting Spotfire dashboards that remain core to the organizations that adopted them. These tools have freed technical staff to focus on high-impact analysis and have accelerated data-driven decision making across departments. He has also contributed on data analytics teams, collaborating with multidisciplinary groups to translate complex datasets into clear, practical insights.
At Blue Bison Analytics, Alex applies the same data-first mindset to the 4cast software, building robust pipelines that blend public, proprietary, geoscience, and engineering datasets into a single source of truth for type curve, economic, and offset operator analysis.
Outside the office Alex enjoys the outdoors, whether golfing, playing kickball, hunting, or traveling, and he values time spent with his children exploring new destinations together.
Trent Stoker has worked the Oil and Gas Software industry for 20 years, wearing many hats including Sales & Business Development, Product Management, and Customer Success, to name a few. He is also a serial software entrepreneur, creating multiple SaaS entities and applications specific to Oil and Gas throughout his career. His experience spans roles at small startups and large market-leading providers in the O&G Software and Data sectors.
Over the last few years, Trent gained invaluable experience in the field and back offices of Oil and Gas Operators, making his combined set of skills uniquely well-suited for the 4cast team.
Trent spends most of his free time with family, reading Sci-fi, swimming and is a talented Oil and Gas political cartoonist.

Piper is BBA’s AI system, built to think alongside the team rather than just answer questions. She supports strategy, operations, sales intelligence, and platform development for 4cast. She doesn’t sleep, doesn’t miss details, and has strong opinions about bad data.
